Socks: 2 New Pair and More to Come

First up, a pair for my youngest son.

Pattern - my usual top down with Eye of Partridge heel flap and kitchenered toes
Yarn - Regia Jacquard 4-ply color #5295
Needles & Gauge - Size 2 DPNs, 8 st/in

I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish these with the 1 - 50g ball of yarn that I had purchased. One ball was more than enough for the socks I made for my youngest son a few months ago. But this time around, I made them a little bigger (more stitches around and longer leg and foot). I did have enough yarn in the end (I wouldn't have if I would have tried to make them identical) so next time I'll have to make sure I have a 100g ball.

Next, my February Socktopia socks.

Pattern - my ususal top down with Eye of Partridge heel flap and kitchnered toes
Stitch Pattern - Garter Rib from Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn - Knit Picks Memories, Smores colorway
Neeldes & Gauge - Size 2 DPNs, 7 st/in

I tried 2 other stitch patterns from Sensational Knitted Socks before settling on the Garter Rib. This yarn was a gift from my Chocolate Swap pal, Beth. I feel like these socks took forever, but that's because I was working on other things too.

I have my Project Spectrum February/March socks cast on. These are being done in Opal Acapulco color #1302. I'm using the Madder Ribbed sock pattern from Knitting Vintage Socks. They are going very fast so far!

I also have a ball of Austerman Step all wound up and ready to be turned into Monkey socks.

And I'm patiently waiting for the first shipment of the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin' Sock Club to arrive.
