It's All About Socks

I'm on a sock kick in a major way. I finished a pair of Yarn Pirate socks this week.

Rum Runner Socks
Yarn - Yarn Pirate Supwerwash Merino, Rum Runner (club colorway)
Pattern - Stansfield 14 from More Sensational Knitted Socks

I've got 2 more pair in the works. The first sock of each pair is done.

Wild Tide Sock
Yarn - Silkie Socks That Rock, Walkin' on the Wild Tide (club colorway)
Pattern - Retro Rib from 25 Favorite Socks

Great Pumpkin
Yarn - Storm Moon Knits Twilight Sock, The Great Pumpkin
Pattern - Just a plain ol' sockinette

I've also got 2 more skeins wound and ready to go.

YarnsWaiting

On top is more Socks That Rock, lightweight this time, in Flower Power...destined to become Monkey socks. On the bottom is Fiesta Boomerang in Amazon...destined for socks, but just plain stockinette ones. I've got even more socks planned, if only I could knit in my sleep.

Sock it to you, Shannan! You're a great inspiration. Do you have a favorite pattern book? Do you knit socks on circs or dpn?

New to your blog (and I've bookmarked it and am going to add it to my blog roll on my blog)

Silly question....

I see only socks around, and in your flickr badge. I'm wondering----are socks all you do? Nothing wrong with it, I just wondered! Gotta love socks. I've only done one pair, crocheted, but just as soon as I can get some sport weight, and a good pattern, and some double ended needles....well, hey, there I'll go. I just got back into knitting because making sweaters to donate at church, the knitting pattern works up so much smoother than the crocheted :-S
