Just in Time

April Socktopia Socks
Originally uploaded by shannanstitches.

I finished my April Socktopia socks, just in time yesterday.

At the beginning of the weekend, I didn't think I was going to make it. But by Sunday night, I was sure I could do it. I didn't get much knitting time on Friday or Saturday, but I spent the better part of Sunday knitting. By the end of the day, I had only the toe of the second sock left to complete.

Here are the sock details.

Pattern - Oak Ribbed Socks, from Knitting Vintage Socks
Yarn - Opal Pettcoat, color #1297
Needles & Gauge - Size 1 DPNs, 9 st/in
Socktopia Theme - Sunshine on my shoulders

My next pair of socks will also be for Socktopia. I'm going with the Fiesta theme for May. After that will be my April Rockin' Sock Club socks.
